Do you dream of a holiday among ponies and horses? At Manege Knollegruun you experience an unforgettable pony camp full of riding, forest rides, swimming, games and new friendships. Whether you are a beginner or have been riding for years, you get lessons at your own level from experienced instructors.
You stay in cosy log cabins or a dormitory and enjoy a varied programme with, among other things, treasure hunts, a talent show evening and many more fun activities.
Safe and familiar
Fun, wellbeing and safety come first with us. Children are supervised day and night by regular counsellors and learn not only to ride, but also everything about caring for ponies and horses. Mobile phones are kept by the staff during the camp; there is a fixed time to call home every day. Manege Knollegruun meets all applicable safety and welfare standards.
Age groups
Mini pony camp (3 days): ages 6 to 10
Children's pony camp: ages 8 to 13
Teen pony camp: ages 12 to 16
Older teen pony camp: age 14 and over

Frequently asked questions about pony camp
What age is the pony camp for?
There are different age groups: the mini pony camp (3 days) for ages 6 to 10, the children's pony camp for ages 8 to 13, the teen pony camp for ages 12 to 16 and the older teen pony camp for age 14 and over.
Does my child need to be able to ride already?
No. Beginners and experienced riders are welcome; every child gets lessons at their own level from experienced instructors.
Where do the children sleep and what do they do?
The children stay in cosy log cabins or a dormitory. The programme is varied, with riding, forest rides, swimming, games, treasure hunts and a talent show evening, among other things.
Can children keep their mobile phone?
Mobile phones are kept by the staff during the camp. There is a fixed time to call home every day.
What does pony camp cost and what if my child cannot attend?
The costs are all-in; the current amount is shown with the pony camp dates at the top of this page. In case of cancellation, the registration fee is not refunded.
