Frequently asked questions about riding lessons
Can I take a trial lesson first?
Yes, you can take a free trial lesson. Request one with the form on this page and we will get in touch. You are also welcome for a tour or a no-obligation introductory chat.
What age and level are the lessons for?
For riders of every level, from beginner to advanced. There are group lessons for youth and adults (beginner, intermediate and advanced) and jumping lessons. For children aged 3 to 6 there are the Mini Riders lessons on Friday afternoons.
What does a lesson or a subscription cost?
That depends on your age (under or over 16), the type of lesson (group lesson, jumping lesson or private lesson) and whether you bring your own pony or horse. You will find the current prices on the prices page.
How does a lesson subscription work and can I cancel it?
For a group lesson subscription, a fixed amount is debited by direct debit every month. The notice period is 1 month, in writing or by e-mail. There are no lessons for two weeks in the summer holidays and no lessons in the Christmas holidays; those weeks are already included in the monthly amount.
On which days are there lessons and what do I need?
There are lessons seven days a week; the current lesson schedule is at the bottom of this page. While riding you always wear an approved riding hat. If you are unsure about clothing or equipment for your first lesson, just ask when you sign up.
